Additional Product Information
Field Marshal George Wade (1673 -1748) was a British Army officer during both the "15" & "45" Jacobite uprisings. His legacy to Scotland lies in his overseeing the construction of 240 miles of roads & 30 bridges essentially to link British Forts & barracks in the period between the two campaigns.
The book is a detailed enquiry into the legacy with photographs, tables and maps accompanying the text.
