The Gaelic poetry of one of Scotland's most famous Gaelic poets of the 18th century and comes with notes and vocabulary list.
Duguld Buchanan (D'ughall Bochanan) was a gaelic speaking Bard & Preacher and lived from 1716 - 1763. Born in Balquhidder he spent much of his life as a School master notably in the Perthshire village of Kinloch Rannoch. He was a relative and contemporary of Rob Roy. As important as his poetry was his diary which he kept from 1741-1715 which was modelled on "The Confessions" by St Augustine.

Condition Notes
A good copy - there are some stains on the cover boards (see image) but it is otherwise a well cound copy and very usable and enjoyable. Clean and bright pages throughout.
