The Private Papers of Douglas Haig 1914-1919

Edinburgh born Field Marshal Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig was one of the key Generals of the First World War commanding commander the allied army during the Battle of the Somme, the Battle of Arras, the Third Battle of Ypres and the German Spring Offensive. This is a collection of his papers from the Great War period.

Good condition - some tarnishing of the dustcover and some fraying around the edges with some tape repair but it remains an integral part of the book. There is some spotting on the page edges.
