A volume from the Batsford "The Face of Britain" series published just before the War in 1939.
It is more a guide to the lowlands and the Eastern part of what is now called the central belt and even extends through Fife and into Aberdeenshire.
Packed with black & white photography.
Condition Notes
The book is missing its original dust civer but the boards have been kept mostly clean on this pre-war guide. Ther are a few minor stains on the front cover however the black titles are clean and crisp.
The inside pages are clean although tanned throughout with some random spotting especially along the paper edges.
The binding remains tight and overall the condition is good.
