    The Churches of Cowie and Fetteresso are found in Kincardineshire. First mentioned on record in 1276 when it was re-dedicated to The Virgin Mary, after apparently first being dedicated to St Nechtan. The chapel was not a parish church and was suppressed in the 1560s.
