As the author states in his preface this edition "...may not show a traveller how and where and when to climb a mountain, but it gives him some idea of what he will find when he arrives." (published in 1930's so the writing is not gender inclusive!)
Focuses on The Cairngorms, Northwest Highlands, The Islands, Glencoe & Rannoch.
Extensively illustrated with black and white photography by Robert N. Adam.
Pull out map present at the back of the book.
Well bound edition with original dust cover still present and has protected the cover boards. The cover is quite grubby with some tearing and fraying along the tops and bottom and on the spine. But its presence with a fine pastel image adds to the authenticity of the volume.
The inside pages are tanned and with light spotting throughout however the book is still bright and still tightly bound.
