Synopsis
The Geology of the area is one of marked scenic contrast, ranging from the low-lying plain of the Carse and the rolling farmlands of Strathallan to the moorland plateau of the Gargunnock Hills, the rounded outlines of the Ochil Hills and the rugged landscape of the the Highland border. The scenic diversity reflects the varied character of the underlying rocks and their differing response to the process of erosion.
Condition Notes
An excellent copy with a good dustcover with just some light fraying around the edges. There is a previous owner bookplate on the inside end-paper. Inside the pages are bright and clean throughout.
