The book written and published some forty years later explores the authors childhood in these harsh parts of Scotland.

  • Condition Notes

An excellent edition with a cellophane protective sheet over the original dust cover that has meant the book has remained clean and tidy. There is a small amound of fraying of the cover around the top of the spine.

The inside pages remain nright and clean throughout. There is a dedication in ink from a previous owner on the inside front page end.
