  • Condition Notes

Two extremely large and originally expensively produced volumes. This has been a library book originally (Glasgow University) and has some remains of Library stamps on the end papers. The bevelled edged red cover boards have some general wear and tear around the edges on the spine but remain elegant with gilt titles and vignette. There is some splitting of the cloth along the edge of the board on the 2nd volume.

Inside the pages remain bright and clen throughout . The paper is gilt edged on the top. There are several loose sheets on the spare title pages on the 2nd volume.
