Alfred Wainwright (1907-1991) is most famous for his books and etchings of the Cumbrian Mountains where he lived and worked for a large part of his life.
In the latter part of his life he produced complete etchings and descriptions of the Scottish Highlands & Islands which were then published during the 1970s in 6 separate volumes.
In this - Volume Two - his 75 drawings cover the more remote mountains of Knoydart and Kintail featuring in particular all the mountains over 3000 ft in height.
