From its magnificent image on the dustcover with 1960s caravan this book focuses on travel up through Scotland through the borders, Perthshire and Argyll up into the far north Caithness. The book describes the trip and life on their caravan nicknamed "the Golden Eagle."
There are some interesting photographs - Galloway Travellers, sheep-shearing, Tweed-mills, herring packers in Ullapool.
Condition Notes
A very good and clean copy with the original dustcover which has just some light fraying around the edges. Inside the pages are bright and clean throughout. Signatures of author and phorographer are on the inside end-paper.
