Eildon Hill lies just south of Melrose, Scotland in the Scottish Borders, overlooking the town.
The author in his preface describes his poems as "rhymes written at odd moments in the midst of daily toil" They had appeared in local newspapers and this edition was a private printing for friends and the public.
Condition Notes
A pleasant volume in a fine red binding with gilded page edges. There is some fading and scuffing of the cover boards and the inside pages have the usual age-related tanning but are otherwise bright and clean.
