Alexander Rodger (1784-1846) often referred to as the "Radical Poet." His poems, in the Scots dialect, combined political satire with snide humour.
He was a contributor to the famous “Whistle-binkie."
Condition Notes
This is an extremely rare first edition published during the author's lifetime. The Book is generally in good condition with just some looseness in the binding which should not detract from its usage. The Boards are generally clean with some bumping around the edges and the corners. Inside the pages are bright and clean throughout. There is a previous owner name in ink on the title page.
