Synopsis
The book is both an homage to the painter W. Douglas Macleod and his paintings of some of the scenic spots in the Trossachs as well as the stories of some of the families and clans from the area; The Colquhouns of Luss, the Macfarlanes, Buchanans and Grahams. It also includes a chapter on the area's association with the story of Rob Roy and a chapter on the fairies at Aberfoyle.
Condition Notes
A handsome book in good condition with some fading of the cover boards. Inside the pages or bright and clean but with some spotting along the edges of the book.
