He published “Lays of Middle Age” in 1859 which was republished in 1889 (this edition). The work comprises a thought provoking series of 55 short poems, often referred to as his "criticism of life."
A very unusual binding in suede leather which is in very good condition with embossed titles on the front. The inside pages are bright and clean throughout. A fine book.
