Kerrera - Mirror in History

The Isle of Kerrera situated in the Bay at Oban has belonged to the MacDougall family since the thirteenth century and the author has had access to family papers to write this book about the Island's changing times including great political events that have left their mark. The island measuring just 8 x 3 km has been a crossing point for funeral parties going to Iona and for cattle drovers coming to the mainland from Mull. 

This work was first published in 1979 by the author.
