Additional Product Information
Stuart Petre Brodie Mais(1875-1975) was an author & journalist. In this book he recounts his return to Scotland after an absence of 6 years due to the second World War.
In his introduction he writes:
"For six years we had to forego our annual visit to Scotland. We had six years' leeway of enchantment to make up. We had no desire to see anything new. All we wanted was to stand where we had stood of old, meet again the friends from whom we had been too long parted, and recapture an old rapture..."
