    This is the Gairloch writer's, S, Barker Johnson also known as "Bee Jay" second book and describes the "Y" journey that starts from Inverness with one arm going of into Wester Ross via the Torridons, Loch Maree and Ullapool and the other up via Bonar Bridge and into Sutherland to Lairg, Tongue, Cape Wrath and down to Lochinver. It is both a travelogue as well as a collection of anecdotes and stories about this remote and wild part of Scotland.

     

    The book is accompanied by an original handwritten letter on the author's letterheaded paper and dated 19-2-1970 to a Mr Addison.

     

  • Condition Notes

    A fine copy of this book with an original dustcover that has some minor tears and fraying along the edges. Inside the pages are bright and clean throughout. There is a previous owner's name in ink "K. Addison 70" (the person to whom the accompanying letter is addressed).
