Synopsis
Celebrity crime writer, TV dramatist and journalist Peter May alongside Edinburgh photographer David Wilson take the reader on an odyssey in prose and photography through the outer Hebridean islands. He maps out their geological uniqueness and show how it has shaped life on the island. He describes the Islander life as bewitching as it is treacherous: isolated from the mainland, divided between the Protestant north and the Catholic south.
