This is Henry Lamond's autobiographical account of his salmon and trout fishing days. At the time he was a leading figure in angling politics and an able conservator of Loch Lomond. There is also a chapter on the making and preserving of fisheries.
Condition Notes
The dustcover although in a poor condition still remains an important part of the book's authenticity and it has ensured that the cover boards underneath have been kept clean and the book well protected. Inisde the pages are bright and clean throughout. A good first edition. There is a previous owner book plate on front left end-paper.
