Synopsis
The Decapod & Schizopod of the Firth of Clyde (43 pp) was written by James R. Henderson and published in 1886 and documents the local species of decapods (such as crabs, lobsters, and shrimp) and schizopods (mysid shrimps).
A Contribution towards a catalogue of the Amphipoda and Isopoda of the Firth of Clyde" (95 pp) was written by David Robertson (often remembered as the "Cumbrae Naturalist") and published in 1888. It acts as a comprehensive early baseline for the region's amphipods and isopods.
A Second Contribution towards a Catalogue of the Amphipoda and Isopoda of the Firth of Clyde and West of Scotland" (29 pp) was also written by David Robertson and published in 1892 to expand on his previous catalog with new findings and wider geographic coverage.
