  • Additional Product Information

Edwin Muir was a prominent Scottish poet and critic of the mid-twentieth century, who drew on his early experiences on the Orkney Islands. His work often centred around he disparity between his recollections of this pastoral idyll and the gritty, urban life he later experienced in Glasgow.

  • Condition Notes

A well preserved original 1st edition with a dustcover that has tanned over time and with some minor ink droplets on the front and some fraying at the edges - it is now in a poly covering so protected from further wear and tear.

The inside pages have age-related tanning but are otherwise bright and clean throughout.
