Synopsis
In his last book published posthumously in 1972, Alasdair Alpin MacGregor(died 1970) contains over 64 black and white photographs mostly taken by the author to describe some of his favourite Island haunts including chapters on The Small Isles (Rum, Eigg and Muck), island in the Sound of Harris in the outer Hebrides, and finally the Isle of Raasay. the photography is accompanied by a rich and vivid text describing island life and the natural world within each one.
