First published in 1933 this pocket book is a timeless guide for any traveller to the The Isle of Arran (Scottish Gaelic: Eilean Arainn) or simply Arran. It covers the history of the island, walks along the coast and rock-climbing and scrambles in its hills, its natural history and geology.
There are 3 Appendices: Gaelic Place-names, a list of walks and a list of plants.
Condition Notes
Good condition overall.
The original dust cover has some large stains and fading however its interesting 1930s design adds to the book's authenticity. Underneath the cover boards are clean with just some bumping on the corners.
The inside page are bright and clean with some random spotting.
