First published in 1933 this pocket book is a timeless guide for any traveller to the The Isle of Arran (Scottish Gaelic: Eilean Arainn) or simply Arran. It covers the history of the island, walks along the coast and rock-climbing and scrambles in its hills, its natural history and geology.
There are 3 Appendices: Gaelic Place-names, a list of walks and a list of plants.
Condition Notes
A good copy with an original unclipped dustcover with some minor stains and some tears and fraying around the edges notably at the top of the spine. Inside the pages are bright and clean throughout. There is previous owner name and date (June 1948) in ink on front end paper.
