Nicolas Sanson (1600–1667) was a French cartographer, deemd to be the creator of French geography.
There are no folds to this map and is in excellent condition.
The frame is probably in excess of 50 years old - 1970s. It is clean and in good condition. The mount has some fading and generally a remount would be recommended.
